Zwanze Day 2021 at The Whale CHS
:: First Off, We are so stoked to be opening in Charleston! ::
We are honored to have been selected as a host for this year’s Zwanze Day on 9/25! .
We’re getting close so we figured we’d lay out the deets.
:: First come, first serve ::
Doors open at noon. Entry will be $15 dollars at the door and includes a commemorative Zwanze stemware used throughout the day. We will be selling tickets for the Zwanze 2021 pour at the door for an additional $10. These tickets are super limited as there is only one keg, so get here early. Big Tent Pizza and Semilla will be slinging out food throughout the day. We’ll have three Cantillon beers on draft when we open at noon. We’ll tap three more at 2pm, followed by the worldwide tapping of Zwanze 2021 at 3pm EST.
:: In addition, we will have a killer draft list with everything from mixed cultured beers to crispy lagers to fresh hop juice. We will be releasing the list throughout the next two weeks on social media. We’ll have some special treats on the bottle list we have been waiting to share as well. We will also be unveiling our new Haüs Lager made by the forever homies at Fonta Flora. Our new digs are big and a majority outdoors, with plenty of room to move around, so we want to encourage you to bring the whole family out.

:: The Beer ::
Zwanze 2021 “Parasol” is a blend of different citrus fruits (80% orange, 15% kumquat and 5% citron). As usual for this kind of beer, Cantillon worked with 300 grams of fruit per liter.
