Save the Date! Zwanze Day is Coming Up!

Let the mellow sounds and inviting vibes sail you away at Yacht Rock Zwanze Day at The Whale, Saturday, Sept 24th at 11 am. Button up your Tommy Bahama halfway, break out the linen pants and come sip these insane mixed fermentation beauties. This event will be not ticketed to attend, meaning the bar is open to everyone! In order to participate in Cantillon drinking, you must purchase a commemorative glass for $15.

This year’s draft options will be:

• Cuvée Saint Gilloise
• Sang Bleu
• Vigneronne
• Magic Lambic
• Saint Lamvinus

The glass purchase does not include a pour but allows for you to purchase any Cantillon on draft! The worldwide Zwanze toast will be at 3 pm so make sure you don’t miss it!

Zwanze 2022 pours will be available to purchase starting at 11 am. There are only 110 total pours available for purchase of the Zwanze 2022. They will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis.

Kipper Schauer, Badass DJ extraordinaire will be here to send you on your way with the smoothest yacht rock classics.

What is Zwanze Day?

(via Our Tasty Travels) Zwanze day is an annual event that Cantillon holds, in which they brew a small batch of experimental beer and offer it for sale in a select group of pubs around the world.  This beer is usually a different style each year and is something other than a traditional Cantillon lambic.  This allows the brewers to experiment and take part in the fun, semi-sarcastic humor of Brussels, which is the true meaning of the word zwanze.
