Vitamin Sea Brewing is sailing down to The Whale for a tap takeover.

Vitamin Sea Brewing hails from Weymouth, Massachusetts and we’re stoked to be featuring them here at The Whale. In 2019 Hop Culture named Vitamin Sea 2019’s best brewery, and they have continued to make fantastic beer. Even before the brewery was even really a brewery—when it was Dino Funari, his brother-in-law, and friends making beer in a Massachusetts basement—people already loved their beer. Now that they have opened the doors of their brewery, the hype is still real. Vitamin Sea plays with popular beers style and elevates them. But they still strive to be better every day. In an interview with Beer and Brewing, Dino Funari said:

“It’s good to never believe your own hype. Any time I drink one of our beers, I’m asking how we could improve it. There’s no such thing as a perfect beer.”

Vitamin Sea typically brews the in-demand trifecta: soft, hazy IPAs; dessert stouts; and heavily fruited sours that are part of their Sour Pipe Project. Also, they brew some iterations on a hybrid style that are corn- and lactose-heavy cream ales packed with nostalgic flavors that have previously included orange and vanilla (Creamsicles), coffee-cinnamon (iced coffee), and passion fruit-orange-guava (fruit smoothie).
