It’s that time of year. We’re stoked to celebrate our 5th birthday here at The Whale GVL on Saturday, June 15th. If you’ve been to one of our anniversary parties before, you know how we like to get down. We’ll be celebrating this year with 5 different 5-way collabs with our homies from Edmund’s Oast, Good Word, Resident Culture, Fonta Flora, & The Eighth State. We’ll have draft and can options for all of the collabs and a bunch of other special surprises in store for you. You’re not going to want to miss this one.

The Collabs

We’re stoked to present 5 new 5-way collabs for everyone to enjoy. Here’s a rundown of what we have in store for the anniversary party.

The Eighth State – I Got 5 On It : Imperial Stout w/ Mint Chocolate, Vanilla, & Coconut.

Edmund’s Oast – I Got 5 On It : Cherry Limeade Sour Ale.

Resident Culture – I Got 5 On It : Hazy DIPA w/ Galaxy, Nelson, Idaho 7, & Mosaic.

Good Word – I Got 5 On It : Cold IPA w/ Cashmere, German Amarillo, Mosaic, & Vic Secret.

Fonta Flora – I Got 5 On It : West Coast-Style IPA w/ Kohatu, Necatron, & Nelon.

The Food

We have two of our favorite our pop ups to celebrate our anniversary. First off we’ll have SOL GVL from 12:00 PM until 5:00 PM. If you’ve been to any of our trivia nights or Friday beer events then you know how incredible chef Ryan’s food is. He’ll be slinging his famous Mexican dishes all afternoon.

From 5:00 PM until Sold Out we’re stoked to welcome our homies Island Sun back to The Whale. With insanely tasty dishes like Jerk Chicken, Goat Curry, Wings, & Oxtail what more could you want. Come snag some of the best Jamaican inspired food that GVL has to offer.
