Get a little taste of CiderFest here at The Whale on Friday, October 20th. We’ll be hosting cider-makers and featuring their best bottles! You’ll also have a chance to win a pair of tickets to CiderFest. With every cider pour purchase, you’ll receive a raffle ticket and be in the running! The winner will be announced at 9 and you must be present to win!
Welcome Botanist & Barrel, Barn Door Ciderworks, James Creek Cider House, Honey Girl Meadery, Molly Chomper, & Red Clay to The Whale.
ABOUT CIDERFEST:
This is an annual fall celebration showcasing a delightful array of local and regional hard ciders, mead, apple wine, and seltzers. Attendees can savor these delectable ciders alongside artisanal bites, live music, and more at our new location, McCormick Field in Downtown Asheville.

Is this event dog/child-friendly?
No. This event is 21+ only, no exceptions. IDs must be presented at the door for entry.
Is there a bag policy?
Yes, we ask all bags are EITHER clear or smaller than 6” in size
Where can I park for this event?
This is a downtown event, any parking located in downtown Asheville will be walkable to the stadium. Parking is limited directly around the venue, so we suggest finding paid or free parking downtown.
Will there be food at this event?
Yes, McCormick Field will have food for sale as well as other small-bite options
Will there be music at this event?
Yes, we will have multiple local bands performing throughout the day
What does my ticket include?
-Designated Driver: Entry into the festival
-General Admission: A commemorative glass, entry into the festival 11:30am-3:00pm, and beverage samples
-VIP: A commemorative glass, early entry at 10:30 am, access to Wicked Weed party pavilion, free snacks and beverage samples
-VIP PLUS: A commemorative glass, early entry at 10:30 am, access to Hiwire Grandstand Suite, free snacks, VIP parking and beverage samples
