We collaborated with New Realm Brewing to bring you a fresh IPA

We are excited to share a beer we brewed up with the homies at New Realm. It’s a traditional West Coast IPA called “I Remember My First IPA”. Geoff Belcher, Head Brewer of New Realm SC will be in the house! 

I Remember My First IPA will be 7% ABV  and was brewed with Citra, Centennial & El Dorado Hops. Expect big Pine & Grapefruit flavors!

About The Brewery:

New Realm is an American craft brewery and distillery started in 2016 by co-founders Carey Falcone, Bob Powers and Mitch Steele. The Company has a flagship brewery and restaurant in Atlanta, GA, a production brewery and restaurant in Virginia Beach, VA, a dedicated distillery and restaurant in Savannah, GA, and a brewery and restaurant in Charleston, SC.  New Realm’s core principles are quality, creativity, authenticity, and striving for perfection, all with a customer-centric community-focused commitment and approach.

There has been a haze craze the last few years – and we enjoy a New England IPA as much as the next person – but there’s something beautiful about a classic West Coast IPA. West Coast IPAs are traditionally known for their bold hop aroma, high bitterness, and citrus/piney aroma and flavors. They are brewed with higher amounts of hops in the boil kettle, which leads to the high bitterness and mid-palate hop flavor in the style. Watch the below video to learn more about the style:
