MARK YOUR CALENDARS! :: We are stoked to announce that we’re teaming up with our October non-profit of the month The Charleston Friends of the Library to bring you the Whaleastic Grown-Up Book Fair, coming to The Whale on Sunday, October 20th from 12-4 pm. ::

We’ve got a line-up of incredible vendors helping us bring this nostalgia-packed event to life. :: Come browse books from Charleston Friends of the Libary, Turning Page Bookshop, Main St. Reads, and more! :: Keep your eyes peeled for more announcements.

And we’re The Whale, so you know the beer list will be fire!

The Charleston Friends of the Library empowers Literacy and Learning in Charleston County by fundraising for programs at the 18 branches of the Charleston County Library, distributing free books in underserved communities, and raising awareness of the importance of literacy in our community.
