Bring a team of up to 6 people to play our Drunk Spelling Bee – a trivia-style spelling bee with a bonus word scramble! Round up your bartab (that night and all of May) to support our nonprofit partner, Literacy Together! It’s free to play.

Our winners will take home gift cards to The Whale!

About Literacy Together:

Literacy Together (formerly The Literacy Council of Buncombe County) was created in 1986 as a merger of two leading adult literacy organizations – Altrusa of Asheville and the Asheville-Buncombe Literacy Council.  Since our beginning over 35 years ago, we have continued to grow programming and expand our reach to meet the literacy and English language needs of people of all ages in Buncombe County.
