Cold Mountain at The Whale AVL
3:00 PM - 11:00 PM | West Asheville, NC
Friday, November 18, 2022
Tap into the holidays with notes of vanilla, hazelnut, dark fruit, and cinnamon.
In Asheville, we have a few different seasons than some other places including Leaf Peeper Season, Drum Circle Season, and of course…Cold Mountain Season.
Cold Mountain is the reason for Highland Brewing’s biggest party of the year! Hundreds of people line up for their first Cold Mountain and Imperial Cold Mountain of the year but here at The Whale, you avoid some of the craziness & still get your favorite Cold Mountain brews!
We’ll have a keg of Vintage Mountain, classic Cold Mountain, and a selection of surprises!
The party gets even better as we’ll have our fire roaring with s’more kits available. Santa Claus himself will be in the house and available for pictures too!
About Highland Brewing:
Highland Brewing Company is the largest independent, family-owned brewery native to the Southeast. With a portfolio of beers that honor tradition and blaze new trails, they are proud to be Asheville’s pioneer in craft and a leader in southern beer.
Highland was founded in 1994 by retired engineer, Oscar Wong. They were the first legal brewery in Asheville since prohibition.
Today, Highland is led by Oscar’s daughter, Leah Wong Ashburn, and the brewery has grown into a regional leader with distribution across four states in the Southeast including North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee. Gaelic Ale, an American Amber Ale, remains their flagship and best-selling brand 28 years strong. More award-winning beers like AVL IPA and Highland Pilsner have since been added to their beer portfolio.
Through it all, Highland remains committed to quality and sustainability, boasting the sixth-largest solar array in an American craft brewery and a host of other sustainable initiatives and community commitments that honor their home in the mountains.
Come out and enjoy this classic Asheville brew!
