It’s a Lager Kind of Evening

Join us on Friday, October 20th as we welcome Czech-style brewing powerhouses, Cohesion Brewing to South Carolina for the very first time. Since opening its doors in 2021, the term Czech-style Lager can’t be said without immediately thinking of Cohesion Brewing. We’re incredibly honored and stoked to be the only bar in South Carolina that’ll be pouring their delicious lager beers.

Event Details

This event will be a little bit different than our typical tap takeovers. Cohesion beer needs to be poured the proper way which is the Czech way! We’ll have 4 unique kegs from Cohesion but only will be tapped at a time and will be poured exclusively from our Lukr tap into Tübinger mugs. These mugs were ordered specifically for our event with Cohesion and will not be for sale. But you can get your hands on your very own Tübinger mug by being the person to kick the keg. That’s right, we’ll have 4 Tübinger mugs up grabs on the night of the 20th. If you needed any more incentive to drink some of the best Lagers on the planet, well, there ya go.

About Cohesion Brewing Company

Having opened in 2021, Cohesion Brewing Company is a brewery dedicated to the exploration of the Czech Republic’s unique beer culture. As the country consuming the most beer per capita in the world, we are so inspired by the Czech beer styles, methods of service, and ingredients that make the Czech beer culture stand apart.

In addition to highlighting both the Czech classics and less-seen styles, we focus on ways to infuse local ingredients, as well as other learned brewing techniques to bring our own flair to this storied beer tradition. To us, that means locally grown malt that will be malted to our specifications, Czech hops, decoction mashing, open fermentation, natural carbonation, and serving through Lukr taps. 

We are building a neighborhood taproom that is welcoming to all. Driven by empathy with an understanding of the impact a business can have, Cohesion Brewing Company strives to find meaningful ways to support local causes and organizations that are working towards a more just community.
