With Urban South HTX

Let’s get shamrocked! St. Patrick’s Day is almost upon us. Because you’ll be looking for where to hang out, we’ll make it easy for you. Come celebrate Saint Paddy’s Day with some fun draft options from Urban South – one of Houston’s most exciting breweries. We also are going to have a MASSIVE can drop. 14 different styles to be exact (as pictured above).

Also, for anyone who is worried. We didn’t forget. The Guinness will still be flowing! The pints will be plentiful!

About The Brewery:

The seed for Urban South was planted during the year founder Jacob Landry spent in Europe. Because of tasting Belgian and English ales and German lagers right from the source, he understood for the first time how big the chasm was between the beer his ancestors drank and the mass-market stuff he grew up with at home in South Louisiana. Naturally, as a good Cajun and Southerner, he knew he had to share the gospel of good beer.

At Urban South, they combine the heritage of European beer-making with the brashness of new American styles. So, that mixture of cultural legacy and bold innovation is why New Orleans was the perfect place to take root. Urban South opened its New Orleans production facility and taproom in 2016. In February 2020, they opened an R&D brewery and taproom in Houston where they focus on pushing the boundaries of American beer.

The company’s mission is to inspire community and fellowship through the gospel of good beer. They also operate with fearlessness and integrity in an effort to brew the South’s most respected beer. Urban South is building an enduring company that embodies the values and traditions of the Urban South. They also seek to be strong community partners and produce world-class beer.

So get excited for a fun night at your favorite Asheville beer spot! Also, don’t forget to wear green. ☘️
