We are so stoked to be releasing a beer we brewed up with the homies at Resident Culture. Resident Culture will be hitting the Whale Trail and visiting all 3 of our locations. West AVL:3/10, Greenville: 3/11, and Charleston: 3/12. Feel free to follow along and join the tour. We’ll be tapping our collab beer along with some other fun Resident Culture beers. The brews will be flowing so come out and give them a try.
“Bellena Paloma” is a Mezcal Paloma-inspired sour beer brewed in collaboration w/ Resident Culture. It is a lightly smoked fruited sour with grapefruit, lime, and prickly pear.
Based in Charlotte, NC, Resident Culture has a genuine appreciation for assertive, hop-forward styles. They strive to accentuate the character and quality of the farmers’ harvest. The concepts of subtlety and nuance are heralded, particularly with regards to their lager beer, mixed culture, and spontaneous offerings. Their coolship program reminds them daily of their obsession with a hyper sense of place that inspired them to transform an old family warehouse into a space that, first and foremost, serves their neighbors.
They take their beer seriously, but most importantly, they value the relationships and family culture they have cultivated at the brewery. They are proud to have an incredibly tight-knit crew, all of whom play an important role in creating the brewery they have become. At the end of the day, it’s beer that they make, but it’s the community and the taking care of one another that makes the foundation they are built upon.
Come have a beer with us and meet some of the Resident Culture crew. Check out our event page to see what else is happening at your favorite Charleston beer spot.
